The 23rd Annual Film and Television Forum wrapped on a high note with a ‘standing-room-only’ event for the ever-popular New Filmmakers’ Day, the only event of its kind in Western Canada. The 2008 Forum hosted an unprecedented line-up of multiple award-winning speakers from some of the most celebrated, successful and critically acclaimed films and TV shows of this millennium. We continued to provide an exciting platform for delegates to access domestic and global market leaders, share the expertise of our international speakers and make the most of the opportunity to meet and foster working relationships with their peers. From sold-out Speed Dating sessions and the much sought-after Telefilm Canada Tête-à-tête meetings, to networking soirees with Insight Film Studios and Brightlight Pictures at their red carpet events, the response to our smart, serious, timely and challenging program drew tremendously positive feedback from delegates and guests alike.
